Our Own Slow Harmony

You take my hand,

And soon I'm in your arms,

My head on your shoulder,

And all worries forgotten.

As we move our bodies together clumsily

And sway slowly back and forth

Our graceless feet find their ways

Around and around in small circles

Until, even in the crowd,

Our steps begin to merge together

Our hearts, so close...almost touching

Through the layers of clothes,

Beat almost simultaneously

And we melt into one.
