Silver and Sea by NynjaKat Silver and Sea by NynjaKat
Yay for updating with my good quality pictures. :) These that I'll be updating were taken for my portfolio reviews. Some of the colors in them will be off a bit from life and how I want them to be but that's okay they're still better photos than I had before. Mot of these will be in my portfolio though I might replace a few with the new piece I'm working on. [more masterpieces {I hope}coming soon].
Other portfolio pieces hat have already been updated:
The Keys: Believe, Dream, Inspire by NynjaKat Peculiar Vase by NynjaKat Gazebo by NynjaKat
Finally finished this still life for class. We had two weeks for this one. Not all to happy with all of it but...it could be worse. ^^' I used misc pretty things for setting up this still life, like my shell collection and silver things. Also borrowed my mom's tea cups and used some old peacock feathers [which I had tot tape to my wall to keep in place.]

Used: different types of charcoal on canson warm gray paper.

Moving on to figure drawing in tomorrow's class....

Man, you are really talented with still life and with charcoal! Don't worry to much about the figure drawings. I have never done it before but I know from others that it is really awkward in the beginning but you just get use to it. Just don't worry! :)

Yup... Still awkward. I have always wanted to take human figure class because it seems like a really good class to take to strengthen your ability to draw people realistically.
