Sometimes I get too caught up in all the beautiful things
I forget about how truly ugly other things can be.

First layer was with watercolor and the second was with acrylic.
apparently acrylic paintings never really scan well -___-

Was supposed to be a self portrait...turned out a bit too pretty to be me

This is actually pretty beautiful with a nice concept. I like the colors you used, and the flowers are pretty cool. The hair is probably the best part, with the rich tones and various hues of color. However, the eyes need some work. Make the girl have upper eyelashes (or make them better known), and let her have pupils. Make the eyes more blue. Her shirt also looks really weird. I do like the cheeks and I LOVE the lips! I also like how you tried painting!
Overall, you did a pretty good job. Keep it up!

ok. gonna write a critique. yeah.

so, the initial proportions are just about perfect. it looks really good, though if anything, maybe the eyes are a teensy bit far apart? they're beautiful, none-the-less.

the light and shadow on the hair is really beautiful. the rich tone of the color is phenominal. I love the little flowers, they perfectly ornament and decorate her hair.

i am especially in love with her nose. I CAN"T DRAW NOSES for my life XD.
